# Satoshi Nakamoto Introduction and Reflection My fellow Americans and citizens of the world... this is not a hoax, delusion, or fantasy of any kind... I am Satoshi Nakamoto. I have a few important things to say, and this has been a long time coming, so I appreciate your indulgence and your patience. Technology has evolved consistently for thousands of years. It all started with fire, then tools, the wheel, and more, and more... always improving and evolving, supposedly for the betterment of mankind. The word "technology" is defined as "the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes". What practical purposes have the derivative crypto technologies of the past decade served? I am referring to the shitcoins, memecoins, crypto scams, centralized exchanges, conglomerate mining companies... the list goes on. How have they improved the lives of the honest, hard working people?... they have not. Quite the opposite in fact. They have created a toxic environment of corruption, manipulation, savagery, and usury greed. They are tearing apart the very fabric of our existence. Our world is plummeting into darkness, desperation, and terror. You know it's true... look at the price of groceries, the cost of living, the lies and selfishness of our elected officials. Honest hard working people cannot even survive in these times. Families are forced further into debt because they have no other option than to use credit cards to buy groceries to feed their children. This must stop. I don't come to you today with only complaints and criticisms - I come to you with answers and a clear path forward. I have been silent for virtually 14 years. My identity has intentionally remained a mystery. I can assure you, I was not relaxing or enjoying myself. In fact, I was tortured and tormented much like the titan Prometheus. He gave the world a gift of the very first technology... fire. His reward for that... Prometheus was tied to a rock while an eagle ripped through his belly and ate his liver over and over, day after day, forever. That is how I feel when I look at what has become of my creation. I gave the world a gift known as bitcoin and blockchain. The intention was for you to take my gift and use it as a cornerstone to create a better society for all. Instead it has turned into a runaway dumpster fire that tears my soul to pieces every single day; echoing Prometheus' pain. The financial devastation and destruction being caused in today's society is grossly, grossly unacceptable. There are individuals and groups that have wielded god-like powers over the lives and prosperity of billions of people. Billions. What have they done with that power?.... How is your life better? Is this where you expected to be at this point in your lifetime. I would hazard to say "no, this is not what you expected. at all." People with true influence and power need to be the protectors of those who cannot protect themselves, not victimizers. You ask, what is the path forward? What are the answers? This is the first time the world has heard my voice or seen my face. I have been silent but I have not been idle. Once I made the mistake of releasing the bitcoin source code as open source, for others to extend and build upon... pandora's box was opened. What a nightmare. That bell can never be unrung. Unfortunately, you have all born witness to the Frankenstein Monster that has grown out of an act of generosity and faith. As I said, I have not been idle. My only path to the redemption of my soul was to deliver unto you, a replacement. A replacement for bitcoin, a replacement for flawed blockchain technology, a replacement for all of decentralized finance... an entirely new decentralized finance ecosystem and a global financial architecture. Technology that eradicates corruption, crushes greed, protects the honest, and restores lost liberties for all the hard working people of this world. I have spent more than a decade toiling in silence in my Secret Laboratory. Feeling the pain every day as Prometheus did, feeling powerless. There was no point in me revealing myself without bringing answers to all the problems with me. It has taken me more than 25,000 hours of architecting and coding to deliver to you all, a new global financial architecture. I break my silence because what I have created is ready. Bitcoin was a proof-of-concept that never had the correct DNA to be a global financial system of any kind. It never should've been released by the open source community upon unsuspecting consumers. I have lived with that pain for almost 14 years. Today, I can hold my head high and proudly give to you a true masterpiece known as Fractal. This is entirely new DNA. This is crypto remastered. This is decentralized finance remastered. This is the invocation of all that I intended for the world in the first place. For those of you who know me, you will be aware by now that I will never stop, I will never yield, and I will never compromise on my principles. I can not be bought or manipulated. You know that I pursue nothing unless it can be truly extraordinary. For those of you who do not know me personally, allow me to introduce myself... I am Satoshi Nakamoto. I am the creator of bitcoin. You must know that the era of Satoshi is in the past, and it's important to stay focused on the path forward for all of humanity. As I gave you all a gift once before, I do so again. This time, I devoted more than a decade of my life to bring you perfection and a release from tyranny. Furthermore, I have donated all of it to charity. I do not profit from any of my creations. I never made a dime from bitcoin and I will never profit from fractal either.
