# Portable NFTs A portable NFT is one that can be decoupled from the network and reside on one of the Vertisan Cards with the VCOS operating system. Once on a card, it can be safely stored or transacted. There's no limit to the NFT size when porting to a VCOS Card. <span style="color: #b93131;">(temporarily stubbed out)</span> ### Standardization The coding standard that all portable NFTs adhere to is ***VFN-PNFT-22***. Other developers can create portable NFTs as long as they follow the standard. ##### Relevant Search Tags > #portable-nft #vfn-nft #vfn-pnft-22
